This mix between Meteos and... mahjong is not as much finished and polished as I originally wanted it to be, but I guess it's a decent time waster. The basic rules : Blocks are falling from the top of the screen, and create a pile. These blocks are coloured, and marked with a shape. By clicking on two similar blocks, the first one will move toward the second. On its way, it destroys all blocks that have a common point (either the same shape, either the same colour). Of course you have to prevent the block pile from reaching the top of the screen ! The graphics are basic pixel-art, and the music and sound effects are almost completely taken from a xylophone. I've recently finished an arena shooter, Gambit Ball. It features a blue ball who must shoot enemies. However each shot lowers either the hero's life, either his power. Your goal is to survive as long as possible, thanks to the bonuses and powerups the enemies leave when they dies. Also, the hero may sometimes... get a little angry ! What's more, Gambit Ball has an online scoreboard. All players can compete for the best score ! If you want to have a look at the score without running the game, click here. Also, Scrolling Survivor, my best unfinished game, just appeared on Pixel Prospector, a site about "promisingly good freeware games in development". The webmaster (many thanks to him) even recorded a video ! Here it is. Have a nice stay at z0glu Productions ! |
